Important Dates to Remember for School Year 2025- 2026

The Department of Education issued Order No. 12, s. 2025 otherwise known as Multi- Year implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar Activities last April 15, 2025. The said guidelines shall take effect starting School Year 2025- 2026 and shall be implemented in subsequent years. A memorandum shall be issued by DepEd before the start of every school year stating the specific schedule of school activities and other celebrations/ observances. This move is different from the department’s usual issuance of guidelines on the school calendar and activities for every school year.

The School Year 2025- 2026 shall formally begin on June 16, 2025, and shall end on March 31, 2026. There are 197 school days for this school year. The following are the important dates to remember for School Year 2025- 2026.

June 1, 2025- End of 30- day Teachers’ EOSY Break

June 9-13, 2025- Brigada Eskwela, Enrollment Period

June 9-20, 2025- Oplan Balik Eskwela

June 16, 2025- Beginning of School Year

June 16- August 22, 2025- First Academic Quarter

August 26- October 24, 2025- Second Academic Quarter

August 30, 2025- Parent Teacher Conference and Distribution of Report Cards (Quarter 1)

November 3, 2025- January 23, 2026- Third Academic Quarter

November 8, 2025- Parent Teacher Conference and Distribution of Report Cards (Quarter 2)

December 20-31, 2025- Year- End Break

January 5, 2026- Resumption of Classes

January 19, 2026- Start of Testing Window for NAT Grade 12

January 26- March 20, 2026- Fourth Academic Quarter

January 31, 2026- Parent Teacher Conference and Distribution of Report Cards (Quarter 3)

January 31, 2026- Start of Early Registration for Incoming Kinder, Grades 1, 7, 11, OSCYA, and transferees

February 2-6, 2026- End of Testing Window for NAT Grade 12

February 18, 2026- Start for Testing Window for EOSY Assessments

February 27, 2026- End Early Registration for Incoming Kinder, Grades 1, 7, 11, OSCYA, and transferees

March 23-27, 2026- EOSY Deliberation of Honors

March 30-31, 2026- EOSY Rites

April 1, 2026- Parent Teacher Conference and Distribution of Report Cards (Quarter 4)

April 1, 2026- Start of 30- day Teachers’ EOSY Break
