DepEd to adopt three new sets of national uniform designs for teachers, office personnel starting SY 2026-2027

Classroom teachers and office- based personnel of the Department of Education shall wear new sets of uniform starting School Year 2026- 2027. This is due to the issuance of Memorandum No. 28, 2025 otherwise known as the Guidelines on the Department of Education National Uniform for Classroom and Office- Based Personnel. 

Three sets of uniform designs for classroom teachers and office- based personnel shall be adopted with the transition period starting school year 2025- 2026 for the personnel to have plentiful time purchasing the prescribed uniforms. The sketches of the said designs are found in the enclosure. 

Below is the schedule for wearing the new national uniforms: 

For Classroom- based Personnel

Monday- Designs A for Male and Female (ASEAN- and Filipiniana- inspired) 

Tuesday- Designs B for Male and Female

Wednesday- Designs C for Male and Female

Thursday- Designs B for Male and Female

Friday- Appropriate office clothes

For Office- based Personnel

Monday- Designs D for Male and Female (ASEAN- and Filipiana- inspired)

Tuesday- Designs E for Male and Female

Wednesday- Designs F for Male and Female

Thursday- Designs E for Male and Female

Friday- Appropriate office clothes

The Department of Education stated that personnel from the central, regional, division offices and schools are free to choose where to buy the prescribed uniform materials from any available source that complies the standard set. Teachers and office workers shall receive clothing allowance worth Php 7000 for them to purchase the said new uniform materials and to avail tailoring services.
