The Department of Education officially accepts enrollees for the school year 2023- 2024 today, August 7. Based on DepEd Memorandum No. 43, s. 2023 signed by Undersecretary, Atty. Michael Wesley T. Poa otherwise known as Guidance on the Conduct of Enrollment for School Year 2023- 2024, all public schools are directed to administer the enrollment until August 26, 2023, Saturday.
The elementary and secondary schools need to utilize the electronic or print copies of the revised Basic Education Enrollment Form (BEEF) based on DepEd Order No. 10, s. 2023 to capture information of the learners properly.
On the other hand, public and private schools are instructed to strictly enforce and implement Kindergarten cut- off age based on DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018.
The activity is in accordance on DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2023 which is the Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities for the School Year (SY) 2023- 2024.
