Department of Education released guidelines on enrollment for the upcoming school year through DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2022. After two years of conducting of remote enrollment due to COVID-19 pandemic, the biggest bureaucracy of the government allows in-person enrollment.
The said Order entails the whole enrollment process. The department will conduct the process through in-person, remote, and online. For those who opt to undergo in-person enrollment, the parents/ guardians, and learners will go to school observing minimum health and safety standards such as wearing of face mask and temperature checking.
The two other types of enrollment procedures implemented for the past two school years are still to be implemented. For the remote enrollment, the learners and parents can submit digital form through email and other messaging platforms. If one chooses drop box enrollment, he or she may fill out the form at home and submit it in the kiosks set up by the school.
The Enhanced Basic Education Enrollment Form will be utilized in the process. DepEd gave specific instructions to the parents and enrollees on what to do in the different types of enrollment procedures. For in-person enrollment, the parents or legal guardian shall communicate their intent to enroll their children through submission of signed BEEF. Learners may undergo the procedure provided the form is signed by their parents or legal guardians.
On the other hand, the parents and enrollees can access the digital copy of the enhanced BEEF from the website of Central, Regional, Division Offices and schools. Signed form shall be submitted through the official email address of the school or to the messaging platforms the school utilizes.
The parents and enrollees can locate the drop boxes in school, barangay hall, or in any visible location. The printed copies of enhanced BEEF are available there. Once filled out, they can drop the form in the designated box.
The school shall designate an Enrollment Focal Person to lead the process. This activity will start tomorrow, July 25 to August 22, 2022.
The Enhanced Basic Education Enrollment Form (BEEF) is an annex of this Department Order.
